Cape Ann Animal Aid’s Dog Day, scheduled for today 1-4, has been rescheduled until Sunday, October 15th, same place and time! CAAA’s 4th ANNUAL DOG DAY website
Cape Ann Animal Aidâs 4th Annual Dog Day will be held Sunday, October 15th from 1PM to 4PM in Gloucester along Stacy Boulevard, overlooking the harbor, around the tennis courts. Come support companion animals in need and have fun doing it.
Dog Day will give canine companions a chance to attend a fun event with their families. The dogs can play on an agility obstacle course (tunnels, seesaws, hoops, and jumps), compete in contests for fun and prizes, get nails trimmed, and choose from a variety of gourmet dog biscuits and pastries. Families can tell their âtailâ to dog âpsychologistsâ to get helpful advice on behavioral issues, participate in team contests with their dogs, eat great food, buy some unique pet related gift items, and learn about various rescue operations.
Again the Dog Day activities will adjoin the annual Save-A-Sato & Georgia rescue dog reunion in Stage Fort Park.
A Parade of Paws along the boulevard will be featured to raise money for the new shelter (pledges will be figured in $$$ per paw). Pledge forms for the parade will be available online or at the shelter at 260 Main Street. The pledge walk is optional and participation in it is not necessary to participate in other Dog Day activities.
