Environmental police shot and killed a coyote that had found itself on Carson Beach in South Boston yesterday.
“The bottom line is that it’s a public safety issue,” said Environmental Police officer Mark Brighenti, who was forced to fire the fatal blast.

I understand the fear people have of coyotes but to kill them… I was in Brookline about two weeks ago when I saw TWO coyotes while walking my dog in the woods. They got up and walked away from us.
